We prefer glass bottles for storage of BEV quality water—but it is not the best choice to store water for emergency situations for obvious reasons.

We prefer these 2-gallon refrigerator bottles that ship complete with lids, spigots, washers. Much easier to manage than 3 or 5 gallon bottles, the wide mouth tops and molded handles make these easy to fill and carry. The rectangular shape provides for convenient storage without wasted space.

We recommend washing only with warm water and a mild dish soap. Or clean it naturally with baking soda and vinegar. Caps are Dishwasher Safe.

While plastics have improved greatly, we strongly recommend you do not allow these bottles to be exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods due to the degradative effects of ultra-violet radiation.
