Recommended maintenance for the BEV100:
- The outside of the BEV100 housing can be kept clean with mild dish soap.
- Every few months, wash out the reservoir with mild dish soap and then produce and discard 1 tank of water to rinse the reservoir.
Recommended maintenance for both BEV100 and BEV500 Systems:
- Once a year, replace the Sediment & Carbon pre-filter and the Deionization post-filter. (Available as a kit, below, including 1 each pre and post filters. (PWS-AFRS-100))
- Every 2-4 years replace the reverse osmosis membrane. (PWS-BEV-RO40)

RO Matched, 4-Stage DI Module (PWS-BEV-DI)
The deionization module in all our systems is a unique, proprietary design licensed to Pure Water Systems, Inc. for use in the PWS® BEV Series appliances. No other BEV system includes this unique 4-stage module.
The first stage of this module contains a proprietary nuclear grade deionization resin carefully engineered to extract whatever is not removed by our custom reverse osmosis membrane.
The second stage contains high grade, high capacity, dedusted, steam washed, granular activated carbon to polish the product water for taste.
The third and fourth stages are designed to prevent the slightest potential of reverse migration of microorganisms.

Custom Reverse Osmosis Membrane
(PWS-BEV-RO18... now replaced by RO40 membrane)
The reverse osmosis membranes in the PWS® BEV Series are custom rolled, spiral wound thin film composite membrane offering consistently high rejection rates (>97%).
Do not order these until needed. Membranes have a limited shelf life and should only be ordered when you are ready to replace them.
The consistently high rejection rates allow us to match the deionization resins in the DI module (above) to those contaminants not typically removed by reverse osmosis; assuring your PWS® BEV system produces water meeting the Vincent standards for purity and bio-compatibility.
We are now shipping our RO40 membrane as a replacement for all countertop BEV100 systems. By changing to the RO40 membrane, BEV100 systems will fill the storage reservoir in less than half the time compared to using the RO18 membrane. The RO40 membrane is the same membrane used in our BEV300 and BEV500 systems, so water quality does not change.
And the best news with the change in membranes—the price has been reduced. RO40 membranes were $139, now just $115.
